Frequently Asked Questions

Keeping up with regular oil changes is essential for the health and performance of your vehicle. Below are answers to common questions to help you understand why routine oil change and servicing matter, how often it’s needed, and what to expect during the process.

We charge a standard diagnostic fee based on the time required to accurately identify the problem. This fee covers our technician's expertise and use of advanced equipment. The good news is that this fee is waived if you choose to have the repair performed with us. You only pay for the diagnosis if you decide not to do the repair.

Those code readers are a great first alert, but they only provide a generic code, not a diagnosis. For example, a code might say "Engine Misfire Cylinder 4." It won't tell you why it's misfiring—whether it's a bad spark plug, a faulty fuel injector, a broken ignition coil, or low compression. We perform the necessary tests to find the root cause.

The time can vary significantly based on the complexity of the issue. A simple code read and basic data review might take 30 minutes. More complex electrical or intermittent problems could require several hours of dedicated testing to replicate the issue and trace the fault. We will give you our best estimate after the initial scan.

Absolutely. Transparency is the core of our service. Once we have completed our diagnosis, we will contact you with a detailed explanation of the problem, what needs to be repaired, and why. We will provide a clear, itemized estimate for the repair and will not perform any work without your explicit approval.

Yes, electrical and electronic diagnostics are a core specialty of our service. Modern cars are essentially computers on wheels. Our technicians are equipped with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and wiring diagrams to expertly troubleshoot complex electrical issues, from parasitic battery drains to faulty sensor circuits and network communication errors.
